Class begins Monday, December 8, 2025, and meets Monday through Friday until January, 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm.
This class is considered an accelerated class because it meets Monday-Friday. Course completion is achieved in two months as opposed to the typical class that is completed in approximately five months.

Application Process
The admission process is designed to admit students who are most likely to be successful in the academically challenging EMT curriculum and do so in an impartial manner.
The application due date is Friday, June 20, 2025, at noon. You will receive notice of your acceptance (or denial) into the program by Wednesday, June 23, 2025.
If you are accepted into the program you will need to gather proof of specific immunizations from your private physician and/or your school district. A detailed list of the records needed is in the Student Catalog (see the link below).

EMT Course
During this course you will complete a minimum of 189 hours in the classroom and clinical setting.
The course requires both final practical exams and a final written exam (see the course schedule below).
Testing for licensure will be discussed with you in class.

Qualifications
- You must be 17 years of age **
- Currently enrolled in Senior Year of High School ** OR
- You must have a high school diploma or GED **
