Presenting the Soon to be Graduates of the 2026 Paramedic Class
The end of the didactic portion of the Paramedic class is in sight for this cohort of 21 students! The class started with 21 students and still has 21 students going strong. This group has been wonderful to work with and we are proud of each and everyone of them. Graduation from the didactic portion is coming up in July - it will be here before they know it!

Full-time Educator Position Posted

SwedishAmerican Hospital EMS System has an opening for a
full-time EMS Educator. 
Qualifications:

Work Experience
  • Prefer active Paramedic or RN with current field and teaching experience. Preferred
  • At least two years field experience in Emergency Services. Required

Licenses & Certifications
  • Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications; Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, Basic Life Support Instructor. Required
  • Bi-annual CPR certification. Required
  • Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois. Required​
